In June 2026, Oemeta China’s 2026 Mid-Year Meeting was successfully held at the company’s headquarters in Wuhan. Sales professionals and technical experts from across the country came together to exchange views and discuss the results of the first half of the year, technical challenges on the ground, and future development directions.

Facing challenges head-on, growing against the tide

In the first half of 2026, complex geopolitical factors led to a sharp rise in the prices of raw materials such as base oils, putting the industry under considerable pressure. Despite these difficulties, all Oemeta China employees rose to the challenges and worked closely together. Not only did they successfully achieve the targets set for the first half of the year, but projects in various regions also continued to develop and demonstrated robust, positive momentum.

During the meeting, participants looked back on the successes and insights of the first half of the year, discussed technical issues at various sites in detail, and developed numerous practical and actionable solutions. Every contribution from colleagues brought the team new inspiration, insights and strength. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, everyone is full of confidence and motivation.

A warm farewell to valued colleagues

On the afternoon of 9 June, the company took the rare opportunity, as the Oemeta family gathered, to hold a festive and moving farewell ceremony for two experienced and highly valued colleagues who will soon be leaving the company.

Over many years, they have worked with dedication in their respective roles and made a lasting contribution to the company’s development. During the ceremony, colleagues expressed their thanks and appreciation, recalling the years of close collaboration they had shared. The company also conveyed its sincere best wishes, wishing them good health, success and many more brilliant moments on their new journey through life.

Team-building and enjoying the nightlife of Wuhan

Following the intensive and fruitful rounds of discussion and exchange, all participants took part in a team-based escape room activity. During the timed puzzle-solving session, everyone worked closely together, demonstrating the strong team spirit and high adaptability of the Oemeta team.

That same evening, the group boarded a cruise ship to enjoy the impressive night-time view of Wuhan’s two rivers and four banks. With a gentle river breeze and sparkling lights reflecting on the water, the participants chatted freely about work and life in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. This further deepened mutual understanding and friendship.

Looking to the future with confidence

The three-day Mid-Year Meeting was not only an opportunity for review and reflection, but also a fresh start that boosted motivation and fostered a shared consensus. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, which remains marked by uncertainty, all Oemeta China staff will continue to uphold the spirit of professionalism, pragmatism and collaboration, facing every challenge and seizing every opportunity.
