Minimum quantity lubrication - lubricant for efficient cooling lubrication
Minimum quantity lubrication is a form of loss lubrication in which an air-oil mixture is used to prevent the generation of frictional heat during the machining process. Minimum quantity lubricants, also known as MQL for short, are applied to the effective area between the tool and the workpiece using special spray systems. This ensures optimum lubrication and cooling with minimum cooling lubricant consumption. Our minimum quantity lubricants can be used on both conventional and CNC machines.
Minimum quantity lubrication with Oemeta MICROTOL products
Depending on the area of application, different basic lubricants are used for a high level of process and material compatibility. The Oemeta MICROTOL products offer excellent lubrication performance and are suitable for both 1-channel and 2-channel systems.
