Oemeta is an owner-managed family business in its fourth generation based in the north of Germany. For over 100 years, we have been developing industrial lubricants for the machining of materials such as metals, glass, ceramics and composites, and supplying our products worldwide. Through our seven foreign subsidiaries, including three production sites (DE, US, CN) and more than 30 sales partners, our products and service philosophy are represented in the most important industrial nations of the world.

Our focus on cooling lubricants (MWFs) and our broad application know-how have made us the technology leader in this specialised field. Countless customers have come to see that the MWF is not a necessary evil but a value-added production aid (just like the tools that form part of the machinist’s core expertise).

Our cooling lubricants offer a high level of quality and process reliability, generally resulting from our proximity to the market and close customer contact. Intelligent, individual and economical solutions are developed in partnership. This is how modern, innovative and technologically mature high-performance products are created. Products developed by Oemeta have consistently become the industry standard and are used in the manufacture of products such as optical glass, implants and medical instruments. The applications cover a wide range, from surface polishing to deep hole drilling and reaming.

Inventions of ours such as the two-component cooling lubricant or the multifunctional oil HYCUT sustainably improve processes implemented by well-known manufacturers in the production industry and reduce costs. The innovative, ester-based ESTRAMET S77 (www.estramet.de) revolutionises the concept of efficiency and cutting performance for difficult-to-machine alloys. A complete non-cytotoxic (according to DIN EN ISO 10993-5) product portfolio is available for medical technology.

Our flexible digital monitoring system logyclab enables both automated coolant control and complete documentation of the coolant parameters at any time during production. This opens up a whole new range of possibilities for process optimisation and parameter levelling (parameter control).

Finally (last but not least): a cooling lubricant is only as good as the advice and support provided by the manufacturer or local representative.
