We have received qualification for HYCUT CF 21 in combination with Additive BF in accordance with Boeing BAC 5008, Sections 12.5 and 12.6. This means our two-component metalworking fluid system is qualified for use in appropriately specified machining processes involving titanium, steel, and aluminum alloys within the Boeing environment.

With the BAC-5008 qualification, we are expanding the range of applications for HYCUT CF 21 + Additive BF in aerospace manufacturing. This provides suppliers within the Boeing supply chain with another qualified metalworking fluid system for demanding machining processes.

Flexible Two-Component System for Demanding Processes

Our HYCUT system is based on a two-component principle that allows lubrication performance and system stability to be controlled separately. Unlike conventional water-miscible metalworking fluids, the lubricating component and the stabilizing functions can be independently adjusted to the specific process.

For example, if a machining operation requires higher lubrication performance, this can be specifically adjusted without simultaneously increasing the concentration of the entire additive package. Parameters such as corrosion protection, pH stability, and foaming behavior can be controlled independently of this.

HYCUT CF 21 is a mineral oil-free, high-performance metalworking fluid based on synthetic esters. In combination with Additive BF, the system combines high machining performance with good foreign oil separation, corrosion protection, and foam control.

More Applications in Aerospace Manufacturing

Qualification according to BAC 5008 confirms the suitability of our two-component principle for manufacturing environments where material compatibility, process reliability, and reproducible results play a central role.

Particularly when dealing with different materials, varying machining conditions, or centrally supplied systems, the separate control of lubrication performance and system stability offers additional flexibility.

We have been developing and producing metalworking fluids since 1916. From our headquarters in Uetersen near Hamburg, we develop solutions for demanding manufacturing processes in industries such as aerospace, automotive, mechanical engineering, and medical technology.
