BG seal "Safe with System" – effective occupational safety

BG seal of approval "Safe with System" reconfirmed

We are delighted that our company has once again been awarded the BG seal of approval "Safe with System." The seal is awarded by the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the raw materials and chemical industry (BG RCI) and stands for a systematically structured occupational safety management system that firmly integrates safety and health protection into operational processes.

"Systematic Safety" is more than just a visible sign of active occupational safety. The seal is awarded to companies that organize and effectively implement responsibility, processes, and improvement measures in occupational health and safety in a structured manner. This includes clear responsibilities, risk assessments, training and qualifications, regulated procedures for the procurement and testing of work equipment, emergency organization, and regular inspections, audits, and management reviews.

The seal of approval is based on the national guidelines for occupational safety management systems. According to BG RCI, the system is recognized nationwide and its content is largely compatible with DIN EN ISO 45001. The seal thus stands for a holistic and practical approach: occupational safety should not only be documented, but should actually work in everyday working life.

This renewed award is particularly important to us. It confirms our commitment to not viewing occupational health and safety as an isolated measure, but rather to anchoring it permanently and systematically in our organization—with clear responsibilities, binding standards, continuous development, and the goal of working accident-free and in a way that promotes good health.

The fact that we have once again been able to demonstrate this standard is the result of the daily commitment of many colleagues at our Uetersen site. With their attentiveness, sense of responsibility, and consistent actions, they make a decisive contribution to ensuring that safe working practices are not just a claim, but a reality at our company.
