Successful partnership with IBAK
Since 2006, we at Oemeta have been very proud of our successful partnership with IBAK, a leading company in the development and production of high-quality sewer inspection and rehabilitation solutions.
Currently, 28 IBAK machines are equipped with our metalworking fluids. This figure is a strong testament to the quality of our products and the trust that IBAK has placed in us for many years. Our metalworking fluids enable the efficient machining of workpieces made from materials such as brass (MS 58), aluminum (AlMgSi1), and stainless steel.
We look forward to continuing our close collaboration with IBAK in the future and achieving new successes together.
The start of our collaboration
At the time, IBAK faced the challenge that the service life of its metalworking fluids was only six weeks. In addition, the competing products used began to emit an unpleasant odor after three to four weeks. Another issue was the green deposits caused by copper leaching, which had a negative impact on process efficiency.
This situation required an improvement in the materials used to optimize operations and extend service life.
Our solution: NOVAMET 760
Our collaboration began with the use of our ALUMET Al 900, which completely resolved the soap formation issue and extended the service life of the metalworking fluids from six weeks to over a year. In addition, it eliminated the unpleasant odor that developed in competing products after three to four weeks.
In 2016, we introduced the further-developed NOVAMET 760, which extended service life to over two years and significantly reduced green deposits caused by copper dissolution. NOVAMET 760 offers outstanding material compatibility and is particularly suitable for machining sensitive materials. The product is characterized by high performance across a wide range of applications as well as low consumption, thus offering an optimal solution for demanding machining processes.
